Women’s bodies are incredible. I mean, we can literally produce an entire other human being in our bodies and then push them out into the world. Sure, that’s one of the most magical functions of the female body, but there are so many more! Here are 13 surprising facts about women and our bodies that you may not have known about (but totally should).

Nope, it's not your imagination. In fact, very few women have totally symmetrical breasts. It’s usually a small enough difference to not even be noticeable, but apparently no woman has equal-sized boobs. Good to know!

Our uterus stretches. Like, a lot. A healthy uterus is usually about 3 inches long by 2 inches wide, but it stretches all the way the bottom of the rib cage for (very) pregnant women.

Sounds unbelievable, but it’s totally true. It’s called “cryptic pregnancy” and it happens way more often than you would expect, according to one study. Statistics show one pregnant woman out of every 7,225 finds out she’s pregnant when she goes into labor. Whoa!

It’s rare, but some women are born with a double uterus. It’s called uterus didelphys. This reportedly happens early on when the fetus is forming. The uterus starts out as two tubes, but fails to fuse together, causing each tube to become its own organ.

Research has actually found that women have more taste buds on their tongues as well as more sensitive palates than men do. In fact, about 35% of women, compared to only 15% of men, say they can identify foods that are bitter, sour, and sweet. They are known as “supertasters.”

This is totally true, and it’s called Pica. It’s the craving of substances that have absolutely no nutritional value and aren’t really food. A couple of examples are dirt and chalk. WTF!
