Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was just rushed to the hospital for a possible overdose merely hours after her release from jail, where she'd been held for punching a police officer and an EMT.
Late Sunday evening, Locklear was arrested in her home for two counts of misdemeanor battery on a police officer and an EMT. She was held at Ventura County Jail for about 12 hours until her release the following day.
Upon her release, she intended to return to the hospital to voluntarily check herself in for treatment. However, shortly after her release, paramedics were called to Locklear's home for a possible overdose. An ambulance then rushed her to the hospital Monday afternoon, according to TMZ.
Thankfully, first responders got to the scene quickly and Heather is reportedly now in stable condition and getting treatment.
This all comes on the heels of her being put on an involuntary psychiatric hold last week. Authorities were called to her home due to her violent and suicidal behavior.
The 56-year-old actress' ex-fiancé, Jack Wagner, told ET, "We all have our struggles. We all do and some of us handle them in different ways. We either really work at getting well, you know, and it’s just about when you make that decision to do it."
Locklear has yet to enter a plea for the recent charges against her, but is set to appear in court in August. We hope she finally gets the help she needs.
