Move over, eggplant — there's a new sex emoji in town.
Twitter is blowing up over the revelation that the Japanese red goblin mask may have been used as a strap-on in the olden days. Seriously.
Pointed out by the appropriately named user Whores of Yore, the "tengu mask" is very clearly strapped around one of the women's pubic area and is being used to penetrate the other. That nose is apparently useful for more than looking silly.
Now, Whores of Yore didn't specify if this was a common use for a tengu mask or just a very imaginative piece of artwork. They didn't even try to draw a comparison to the emoji, so naturally, the internet did it for them:
We should point out that "tengu" is actually a Japanese demon, known to be the enemy of Buddhism. Which makes all this even kinkier, like an early version of a Satan fetish.
Now prepare to see these masks littering lesbian Tinder profiles everywhere.
