Check out this little heartbreaker!
Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram Sunday to share the first photo of her newborn son with singer John Legend, born last week.
“Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens – We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles,” the 32-year-old model captioned the sweet snapshot. “Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!”
True to form, Chrissy followed up the precious photo of Miles with some candid words about the glitz and glam of postpartum life.
"If you haven't seen @aliwong's new Netflix special, you are bad at picking Netflix specials #asianpearunderwear," she captioned a photo of herself in postpartum underwear. (Wong, the comedian/fellow mom Chrissy was referring to, shouts out those mesh panties in her latest stand-up special. She describes them as being made out of the "same material that they package those fancy Korean pears in." Lovely!)
Thankfully, Chrissy didn't endure too much mid-labor trauma to her nether regions with Miles. Giving birth to Luna — her and John's now-2-year-old daughter — was another story...
While Chrissy was busy sharing tidbits from new mommy life on Instagram, John was revealing the meaning behind his son's name during a red carpet interview at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
“We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens; every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it," explained the 39-year-old Grammy-winner, per People, referencing the late, great singer Nina Simone. "So Miles is, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis."
The little one's middle name isn't quite as deep: "Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens," John continued. "When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, ‘He looks like a Miles.’ ”
John later took to the T-Mobile Arena stage to perform his song "A Good Night"; Chrissy, meanwhile, was subtweeting him (naturally):
Thankfully, he was home in time to enjoy the aforementioned shortribs:
... Much to Chrissy's delight:
We don't use this phrase lightly, but: #RelationshipGoals.
