Breasts come in all shapes and sizes. Some people are happy with their size, while others opt for implants to enhance them. Meanwhile, women like Amber Rose have the opposite issue.
Rose wrestled with the idea of a breast reduction surgery for nearly three years. But when the size of her chest started breeding health concerns, she knew it was time. So, in January 2018, she went to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher and had the three-and-a-half hour surgery done.
"I was scared that I wouldn’t feel sexy anymore, she told People. "But it got to the point where I literally was in pain. It was almost as if I had like a heavy backpack on my chest."
While many may have suspected it at some point, Rose says she never had implants. She was just overly blessed in the breast department, with a size 36H cup size.
"I got my boobs when I was 14, but I would say, over the years, as my weight fluctuated, my boobs fluctuated. And, so, after I had my son, I mean, my boobs, they got bigger. They got way, way bigger," she reminisces. "They weren’t implants or anything like that."
But often, blessings can be curses in disguise. The curse, in Rose's case, was pain. So. Much. Pain. She couldn't exercise or even walk sometimes without her back hurting. So, although she was worried about scarring, and that reducing the size of her breasts may cause her to feel unsexy, she decided to take the leap.
"My back was hurting me. There was times I would just walk and just stop and be like … it would kill me. And, so, at that point, I was like, this is more of like a health issue, where I have to get this done."
Dr. Fisher worked his magic and Rose now steps out on red carpets with size 36DDD breasts, which she says is "like a dream come true." She says she can finally wear spaghetti-strapped tanks and easily find bras that fit. TRULY, A DREAM.
"This is amazing! I’ve been missing this my whole life," she tells People.
And we just want to say that Amber, girl, you are gorgeous no matter your breast size.#NoRegrets
